Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe 1

What You Will Need

  • One cup of white sugar
  • One cup of packed light brown sugar
  • One cup of softened butter
  • One teaspoon of baking soda
  • One cup of chopped walnuts (optional)
  • Half a teaspoon of salt
  • Two teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • Two teaspoons of hot water
  • Two cups of semi sweet chocolate chips
  • Two eggs
  • Three cups of all-purpose flour

First things first, preheat your oven to get ready to bake. Preheat it to 350 degrees, or 175 degrees Celsius. Grab your brown sugar, white sugar, and your butter and cream them together until they are completely smooth.

Once smooth, begin beating in your eggs one at a time. When the eggs are beaten in, proceed to stir in the vanilla. Take your baking soda and dissolve it in some hot water.

Add the dissolved baking soda into the batter mixture alongside the salt.Mix in the chocolate chips and the flour. If you are choosing to add in optional walnuts, this is the time to add them in too. Mix the batter mixture together for a little longer until everything is thoroughly combined.

Drop large spoonfuls of the batter into an ungreased pan. Place the pan into the oven and bake them for around 10 minutes. You will know that they are ready when the edges become lightly browned. This might seem like fairly standard fare when it comes to chocolate chip cookie recipes, but it is certain to create some hugely delicious, mouthwatering treats.

What You Will Need

  • One cup of softened butter
  • One cup of light brown sugar
  • One cup of chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • One tablespoon of vanilla
  • Three-quarters of a cup of white sugar
  • Three-quarters of a teaspoon of salt
  • Three-quarters of a teaspoon of baking soda
  • Two large, slightly beaten eggs,
  • Three cups of semi sweet chocolate chips
  • Three cups of all-purpose flour

As is always the case, don’t forget to begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees! Cream up the butter with both the white and the brown sugars. Fold in the two large eggs before adding the vanilla and then mixing it up well.

In a separate bowl, combine all the dry ingredients- not including the chocolate chips and the nuts-  together. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixture. Once the dry and cream mixtures are combined, start stirring in the chocolate chips and the optional nuts.

Once thoroughly mixed in, roll the batter into cookie dough balls that are about one and a quarter inches in size. Place the cookie dough balls onto a non-stick cookie sheet. When placing them, make sure they are about two inches apart.

Bake the batter for around ten to twelve minutes, and you should have your cookies! This is another relatively regular chocolate chip cookie recipe, but it makes for extra soft and chewy cookies that are sure to hit the spot.

What You Will Need

  • One cup of packed light brown sugar
  • One cup of granulated white sugar
  • One cup of salted, softened butter
  • One teaspoon of sea salt
  • One teaspoon of baking soda
  • Half a teaspoon of baking powder
  • Two teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
  • Two large eggs
  • Two cups of chocolate chips, chopped chocolate, or chocolate chunks
  • Two large eggs
  • Three cups of all-purpose flour.

Yep, you guessed the first rule. Don’t forget to preheat your oven! This recipe requires a heat that is a tiny bit hotter than the other two that we have talked about, at 376 degrees Fahrenheit.

Prepare a parchment lined baking sheet by spreading some. Take a mixing bowl and throw in the baking soda, baking powder, flour, and salt. Mix them up a bit and then set the bowl to one side. Grab another mixing bowl and cream up the brown sugar, white sugar, and the butter until you create a silky smooth batter.

Once the batter is smooth, beat in the eggs- along with the vanilla- until the mixture takes on a fluffy texture. It’s now time to add in those chocolate chips! Pour them in and mix them into the batter well.

Depending on how large you want your cookies, roll two or three tablespoons of your batter into cookie dough balls. Place the batter balls onto your prepared cookie sheets, making sure that they are spaced out evenly. You could always get hold of a cookie scoop if you want to make this part a little less fiddly!

Place the dough into your oven and bake them for around eight to ten minutes. It is best to take them out when they are just barely beginning to brown. To make sure you don’t get any accidental burns, let the cookies sit in the baking pan for an additional two minutes before you remove them and place them on a cooling rack.

The key to getting this chocolate chip cookie recipe just right is to try not to over bake them, as the right texture gives them that gorgeous softness. Check what they look like and make sure to take them out when they still have a doughy look to them.

Final Thoughts

So there you have three separate takes on the best chocolate chip cookie recipe! Whilst these all have their similarities, it is the little changes that can make all the difference, such as choosing salted butter over unsalted butter, dark chocolate chips over milk chocolate chips, or choosing whether or not to include nuts of some kind.

Hopefully, you will find something that is sure to make your chocolate chip cookies all the more mouthwatering.
